Cuyahoga Valley National Park · Ohio
Cuyahoga Valley sits between Cleveland and Akron, with forests, waterfalls, and farmland along the Cuyahoga River. The flat Towpath Trail follows the old Ohio & Erie Canal and is great for biking and stroller walks, and Brandywine Falls and the Beaver Marsh boardwalk are quick, rewarding stops. There is no entrance fee, and the Boston Mill Visitor Center is a good place to pick up maps and Junior Ranger books.
Hours, roads, and programs change with the seasons. Check current conditions on the official Cuyahoga Valley National Park website before you go.
