Lake Clark National Park and Preserve · Alaska
Lake Clark is a roadless park of volcanoes, glaciers, turquoise lakes, and salmon streams southwest of Anchorage. Visitors fly in, often for coastal bear viewing or to stay near Port Alsworth, where there is a visitor center and a trail to Tanalian Falls. It is a true wilderness park, so plan carefully with an air taxi or guide.
Hours, roads, and programs change with the seasons. Check current conditions on the official Lake Clark National Park and Preserve website before you go.
