Redwood National and State Parks · California

Redwood protects the tallest trees on Earth, along with prairies, rivers, and wild coastline, managed together with California State Parks. Families can walk easy trails like the Lady Bird Johnson Grove loop, watch for Roosevelt elk in open meadows, and explore tide pools and beaches. The Thomas H. Kuchel Visitor Center near Orick is a good first stop for maps and Junior Ranger books.

Hours, roads, and programs change with the seasons. Check current conditions on the official Redwood National and State Parks website before you go.
