Yosemite is famous for its waterfalls, granite cliffs, giant sequoias, and big meadows. In Yosemite Valley, families can walk the short loop to Lower Yosemite Fall, ride the free valley shuttle, and visit the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center, and the Mariposa Grove has giant sequoias to walk among. Waterfalls are strongest in spring; check nps.gov for road status and any reservation requirements.
