Mount Rushmore National Memorial · South Dakota
Mount Rushmore National Memorial features the 60-foot faces of four U.S. presidents carved into the Black Hills of South Dakota. The Presidential Trail is a short walk with great views for kids, and the visitor center and Lincoln Borglum Visitor Center have exhibits and Junior Ranger books. Evening lighting programs are a family favorite in summer; check nps.gov for the current schedule.
