Arches National Park · Utah

Arches has more than 2,000 natural stone arches, plus balanced rocks and tall red-rock fins, and many of the best views are short walks from the scenic drive. The Windows Section, Balanced Rock, and Sand Dune Arch are good kid-sized stops, and the visitor center near the entrance has exhibits and ranger program times. Summers are hot, so go early in the day, carry plenty of water, and check nps.gov for any timed-entry reservations during busy months.

Hours, roads, and programs change with the seasons. Check current conditions on the official Arches National Park website before you go.
