Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve · Alaska
Glacier Bay is a highlight of Alaska's Inside Passage, with tidewater glaciers, deep fjords, and temperate rainforest, and it is homeland to the Huna Tlingit. Many families see it from a cruise ship or day boat tour, watching for whales, sea otters, and calving ice. At Bartlett Cove, near Gustavus, there is a visitor center, short forest trails, and the Huna Tribal House.
Hours, roads, and programs change with the seasons. Check current conditions on the official Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve website before you go.
