Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument · Montana
Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument in Montana marks the 1876 battle between the U.S. Army’s 7th Cavalry and Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho warriors. A visitor center, museum, and driving tour with overlooks help families follow the story across the rolling hills. Summer thunderstorms and rattlesnakes are real, so stay on trails and bring water.
Hours, roads, and programs change with the seasons. Check current conditions on the official Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument website before you go.
