Saguaro National Park · Arizona
Saguaro protects the giant saguaro cactus in two districts on either side of Tucson, Arizona. On the west side, the Red Hills Visitor Center and short walks like the Signal Hill petroglyphs trail are good for kids, and on the east side the Cactus Forest Loop Drive has easy pullouts and trails. Visit in the cooler months or early in the day, and bring plenty of water.
Hours, roads, and programs change with the seasons. Check current conditions on the official Saguaro National Park website before you go.
